Crystal Ladies Association has handed over the rehabilitated Tema Day Care Centre it refurbished at a cost of GH¢28,000. The Community 2 No. 1 Day Care which is one of Tema’s early childhood development centers under Ghana Education Service, had not received regular maintenance since its inception, compelling the children to learn under appalling conditions. The association’s 2018/2019 project research identified what they described as infrastructural maintenance challenges in critical areas, which informed the decision to refurbish it as part of their charity programs.
